I love, love, LOVE this shop! I love that not only is it a book store with a PLETHORA of options, they also offer counseling services! There are always so many books and I thoroughly enjoy that there is a narcan dispenser right in front of the store. This is SO IMPORTANT to have readily available for anyone to carry with them, in case of an emergency. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love this place!

Small locally owned book store with a comfortable/cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Book prices are MSRP as listed on the books, and they have a great selection for the size of the shop. Lots of local events are hosted here and I have seen great turnouts (with freebies!).

Organized very well, books in very good condition, and very well priced. You could ask for any book and they've got it plus several other similar books

You know how some bookstores have sale racks where you can find crappy collections of public domain junk, or photo books that are priced at 10 dollars but are really just old stuff they're trying to get rid of? That's not this place. This is a used bookstore with a little bit of everything, especially mass market paperbacks and a good collection of nonfiction. It's not all the newest, but if you're like me and looking for older stuff that you haven't read from authors that may not be around any more, you're likely to find it here. And if you want the newest, they will order it for you. That way you don't have to worry about somebody ripping off your package, or supporting Globomegacorp. Do not expect long hours. This is an Abilene business. Do not expect 15 minimum wage workers stocking the books who know nothing but how to color their hair blue. This is a local place run by a very few local folks and they know books. Do not expect to see sterile shelves and drink Starbucks. They sell used books, they have them all over the place, and you can go buy coffee at Dixie Pig. This is one large and probably the best used book store in the Big Country area--and nice prices, too, way better deals than megabookcorps' bargain rack!
